Honest cooking, honestly set out.
This page sets out the limits of the information published on phrexxontholmare.ddd. We aim to be plain rather than defensive — you'll find no rights-stripping language here. The clauses below explain how to read our recipes responsibly and what falls outside the kitchen's reasonable control. Last reviewed on 6 May 2026.
A · General
The information on this site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. While we take real care over what we write, no warranty is made about completeness, accuracy or fitness for any specific purpose, beyond the guarantees implied by New Zealand law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
B · Fair Trading Act 1986
We do our best not to make any misleading or deceptive representation in trade. If you believe a statement on this site, in our newsletter, or in our printed booklet is misleading under the Fair Trading Act 1986, please tell us — we'll review and correct it within ten working days. The Commerce Commission of New Zealand can be contacted at comcom.govt.nz if you want to raise the matter independently.
C · Cooking notes
Recipes are written for everyday home cooking with a domestic stove, oven and basic equipment. Times and temperatures are based on the appliances we cook with; please use them as guides, not certainties, and adapt to your own kitchen. Sharp knives, hot oil and boiling water deserve respect — please follow basic kitchen safety, especially around children.
D · Allergens & safety
Where allergens are mentioned in a recipe, we do so as a guide only. Specific products vary by brand, batch and packaging, so please always check the label of what you buy. Our kitchen is not a dedicated allergen-free environment; if you have a clinically significant food allergy, take advice from a qualified medical professional and treat the recipes accordingly.
E · Nutrition & health
The site does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary or therapeutic advice. Nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. If you have specific dietary requirements, are pregnant, nursing, or under medical care, please consult a registered dietitian or doctor before relying on a recipe.
F · External links
From time to time we link to growers, suppliers, magazines and community projects. These are independent organisations whose websites are outside our control. We do not endorse, guarantee or take responsibility for the content, products, terms or privacy practices of any third-party site. Always read their own terms before sharing data with them or making a purchase.
G · Endorsements & commercial relationships
We do not run third-party advertising on this site. We do not accept paid placements in our recipes or in the Sunday letter. We do not use affiliate links. If we ever recommend a tool, a book, a piece of cookware or a workshop run by another organisation, we have actually used it ourselves, and any commercial relationship will be disclosed plainly at the point of mention.
H · Site availability
We do everything reasonable to keep the site online and up to date. Even so, planned maintenance, hosting issues or events outside our control may cause occasional outages. We are not liable for any loss arising from a temporary inability to reach the site, beyond statutory consumer protections.
I · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site or any recipe published on it. Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to limit your statutory rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or comparable consumer-protection legislation in your country of residence.
